Restaurant POS System

Menya Le Nood is a small ramen restaurant located on Honolulu, Hawaii that is in need of a new, low-cost, highly reliable POS system. I developed a Python application using Tkinter to manage reservations and take orders in a simple and efficient manner. I also developed the database to store menu and order information in a MySQL database hosted in Cloud SQL.

Satellite Image Object Detection with Mask R-CNN

Final project for CPSC 393 (Machine Learning) at Chapman University. This is an example of using Matterports Mask R-CNN framework to detect and create masks around cars and swimming pools from satellite images. Other important applications include surveying areas via drones and detecting things such as stolen cars or fires.

Aloha AI

Aloha AI is a collaborative infrastructure/service for students to use as they learn the fundamentals of machine learning, deep learning neural networks, and computer vision. I designed the schemas for the Firebase database as well as Cloud MySQL database. I also developed a REST API using Python and Typescript to allow edge devices to communicate with the databases.

C++ Compiler

Semester-long project for CPSC 402 (Compiler Construction) at Chapman University where I collaborated in a group of 5 people to develop a compiler for a fragment of C++. This involved using Haskell to create lexers and parsers, as well as unit testing using WebAssembly.

To-Do List

A To Do List app implemented using Swift/Storyboards. It uses a table view to display the tasks, and uses UserDefaults to store the tasks. There are 3 View Controllers, one for viewing tasks, one for editing tasks, and one for adding tasks. The tasks are also sortable by date and category.

Cooking Daddy

Cooking Daddy is a 2D game built in Unity and C# where the player must catch falling ingredients in a basket. The dish will appear at the top of the screen with the listed ingredients, and then ingredients will start falling from the top of the screen. The player loses stars (start with 5 stars) if they get ingredients that aren’t listed or if they get more than the listed amount of one ingredient. The player wins if they can match the ingredient list.
